I thought I would share a solution to a problem.
My PC ran smoothly but had little glitches and bumps so I thought I would do a reinstall.
    No problem...all files were backed up...twice !!
    Install went fine
Then...the PC would just shut down..no warning.
    I did a RAM test......OK there
My SMART info on the hard drives was good
    Did a SpeedFan test...OK there
    PC still shutting down
I have 4 fans on the case.....not including fans on the HDD's
I open the case and there was a little dirt here and there the CPU cooler was a tad dirty
So I used my shop vac to suck out visible dirt and debris
Then, I thought, why not switch the vac to "blow"?
HOLY C R A P !!! I could not believe all of the dirt that came gushing out !!!
Apparently my power supply was so dirty it would over heat and shut off.
    All working well now.

Maybe I should clean my PC every 2-3- years?? LOL

    Re: Share some info

As an update, I had to replace the power supply a few days later.
