Renaming my website

I would like to rename my website and use the new name URL. Is there any way to do this and KEEP ALL my data etc. on my wordpress Blog?? Are all the permalinks 'carved in stone'? Will they change? What happens? Am I 'playing with fire' or is it doable?

NO, you cannot do that, even by migrating the Database manually.

Yes, that's why they are called "Permalinks."

If you want to experiment (prove me right) you can create an Add-On Domain in your hosting account using the new Domain name, install a COPY of your Current Wordpress into it, and see what happens.
