my website pages have an iframe as a header. i want to use dropdown menus in the iframe area, so i can make a single change to the menu, instead of putting the menu in the main page area below the iframe location, where i would have to update the menu on every page of the website (700 pages! too much work to update the same menu item in each page).

but when published, when you mouse over the menu, the dropdown does not cross over the iframe boundary into the area below. the dropdown is truncated at the boundary of the iframe.

is there any way to allow the dropdown to show past the edge of the iframe into the rest of the page??
