OLE Object Microsoft Document lettering

Hi, asked this question in General Support but got no help. So, am posting here to see if anyone can provide info.
I tried using the OLE Object -> Object Type -> Microsoft Document.
After adding text, I previewed the page. The font color was purple!
I tried all kinds of ways to change the color, but it always came back purple?
Is this a bug?

Thanks for your interest.
Well, for one thing, I don't want the color to be purple. The lettering on all of my other pages is blue. But, I can't change the color to blue (or any other color) ... it is always purple.

Did you ever get an answer to this post? I have the same problem tring to embed an excell sheet... it always turns purple... so I did it the hard way and created a table in BV..... it is a real pain in the neck!

Save (Save as type: Web Page) the Excel file as an html page.
FTP the file to your public_html folder on the server. From there you can create a link to it (www.yoursite.com/excelpagename.htm) or insert an IFrame on the page and make the target to the link above.
Note that the file extension is htm not html.
You can also ftp the original Excel file and link to that. (www.yoursite.com/excelpagename.xls)
The only drawback to that is the person viewing will have to have Excel also.
You can try the IFrame method here also.

Yes, but the viewer must also have PPT. You can merely make a text link and the viewer will then download the PPT presentation to view.

OK so I did it and it works! One problem, I do not want visitors to be able to right click and edit the slides... is that going to be in how i saved the PPT?

Not possible. If someone wants to take your work...they can. If it's on the "Net it can be copied thru several means. You can use an image editing program and put a watermark on the images.
