Does the new 10.1 version of BV run on windows 98?
I tried the download and install. But, it would not run.
    It complained about a DLL.
    Thanks for you help.

Well, thanks for that advice about MS & Windows 98.
What do you mean by "most of the time". This version failed on my system. Now, I'm dead in the water. What do I need to do to make sure it works?
Have YOU officially dropped support of your product on Windows 98?

W98 is 10 years old! A long time in internet terms. Perhaps you could up-date and save yourself the horror? Just a suggestion. Good LucK

          Parris..

Microsoft has dropped support of that product. Most companies... like voda host and blue voda website builder have moved on to accomodate the newer versions of Windows and developed their software to operate on those systems. Voda Host.. never did, nor will in the future offer support for WINDOWS, only their product and work on making their product work on that specific operating systems. Since 98 is an obsolete version I doubt anyone wanting to stay in the business will continue supporting or developing software for it.

I guess I'm a little dense. Why can't my question simply be answered without telling me why either I need to update my Windows version or how obsolete 98 is?
Here is the question that I need answered:
Does the latest version of the Web Builder SW officially support 98 or not?

Really, 10 years. My how time flies. I did update: got a good OS: It's called the Mac. But, the Web Builder SW doesn't support the Mac. So, the answer is that I need to buy a stripped down Windows machine just for BV. Neat.
By the way, wouldn't it have been nice if the dropping of support for 98 would have been mentioned?
