    Default Fit to screen

    Hi!

    Is there code I can install to ensure that my website fits the entire screen of various devices?

    At the minute I'm working with a width of 1200 to ensure no scrolling from side to side is needed but it doesn't look good with bars of empty space down each side.

    If not, what would be the best width to work with?

    Many thanks!
    Elena

    Thanks Vasili!

    However I have already built a "mobile" site at 500 wide and applied the .htaccess file.

    I was asking the question for viewing my main site on a PC or larger device than a mobile phone. Even at 1200 wide there are gaps down the side and was aiming to try to fill the screen without prejudicing smaller "main" screens.
    Are you saying this can't be done in blue voda for non mobile sites?

    Many thanks,
    Elena

    Hi,

    You can try adding the below to the header of your page:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">

    You would go to the page HTML and insert the above between the head tags to make it work.
