Shipping Cost In PalPay Cart

As my site is not up and running as yet, can someone please tell me what the basic PayPal cart that comes with a BV does with shipping costs. The tutorial shows how you enter in the name, cost and shipping cost for your item. Now I don't want any shipping cost entered into the cart so do I just not fill out that part or do I type in 00 for the shipping cost? When the customer goes to the cart I would like them to see no mention of shipping. So what should I do to ensure this?

I've just found pictures of PayPal's shopping cart on their site and it looks like the word shipping is a permanent feature the customer will see. Doesn't matter I suppose because it should show $00 with the way I will be doing things.

The shipping costs details and options is usually the responsibility of the seller to specify.

Paypal only charge their commission for payment transaction on the total bill or invoice.

In the PayPal "Invoice" setup, you have the option of displaying variables such as the Shipping line. Simply make sure that you go thru each setup page and check only those items you wish displayed on the Customer Invoice.

* And ... to clarify ... PayPal applies the discount rate (commission) to the total amount being transacted: the total amount includes merchandise, shipping, handling, and any other line item that adds up to create a total amount due for processing.
Be sure to keep this in mind when pricing your goods, services, and calculating margins ...

Hello Vasili, and thanks for your reply. I'm glad you did clarify that the PayPal commission is charged on the total amount that my customer has to pay. I did not know that. So PayPal even get their commission on the shipping amount as well as the items being sold. Thanks to you zuriatman for your comments as well. Now I suppose I should really start another new thread for a new question I have about the shopping cart.
