Wink Duplicated messages in each Guestbook

    Hello,

I have more than one guestbook on my site (on different pages) but they both have the same messages on. I have tried deleting one of them and recreating it and the same old messages from the original guestbook on the other page were in it again when I published.

Can I only have one guestbook per site or is there a way to stop this?

    Thank you in advance!

    Sally

You can have as many guestbooks as you like, BUT, obviously, if they are to have different content, you need to use different database file.

You can acheive this by setting a different filename for each guestbook. Go in the GB properties, Advanced, "Text filename" and change the default "./guestbookdb.php" to

    ./guestbookdb1.php
    ./guestbookdb2.php

    etc.

I recommend using "strange" names, like ./78_KR_guestbookdb.php or similar.
