Pages in Joomla (along with everything else such as Categories, Navigation, etc.) are created and deleted using the online Admin Panel dashboard only, and not by manual methods.

Joomla itself can be auto-installed via Fantastico and uninstalled via Fantastico in the same, simple manner.

Do you know what you are doing??
