    Question jquery script not working online

    Pls help. I am trying to use a jquery script I downloaded. It works fine when I click on the html file on my local pc. Once I upload the files to a folder on the web it does not work. what may be the problem?

    This is how it should look and does look on my pc.

    This is how it looks online when I upload the exact same folder.

    Did you upload all the necessary files ? that is, the jquery components, and the css files, as well ? Did you enable Autoscroll ?

    Yes I uploaded all the files in all the folders. I am not too sure about the autoscroll part tho...where do I enable that from?

    The scroll is achieved through a setting in the jQuery parameters.

    I can't know exactly where as I've never used the specific script, but, from my experience, you are missing the css styling and the autoscroll settings.

    The css has to be imported (I believe) in the page through a call in the <head> ..... </head> section of the page HTML.

    Thanks for your prompt response Naval. Everything works fine when I open the html file from on my system. Once I upload it all, it just does not work online...is the html file changed somehow during the process of uploading?

    I am lost when it comes to scripting...but I will readup and see if I can figure out the autoscroll and css calling as you mentioned above.

    If it works fine in preview (though I don't see how) it can ONLY be an issue of missing files.
