    Default Password protected Wordpress Installation

Is it possible to install wordpress in a password protected directory? I only want our subscribers who each have their own password to the protected pages to be able to access the blog.

    Any help would be appreciated!

You can Password Protect ANY sub-directory of a website, including one that has Wordpress or any other type of file or script installed.

Having auto-generated individual Passwords, however, is another thing altogether, and will require you to install a Membership script on a 'site' or single page of such sub-directory to then "refer" (or link) to another separate directory altogether ..... not logistically sound, nor a task for the casual web builder.
