you tube videos not showing up on page

I load youtube videos into the box by opening the properties box and putting in the URL where the video can be found on you tube. But when I publish, the space is empty. I can embed using code but then I can't change size of video. This has worked in the past. Has something changed in how you upload you tube videos?
