Default published site = site I'm creating

I already have a website; it's published with Network Solutions.
I'm creating a new site with BV using the same address.

ie: is currently up with Network Solutions
I'm creating a new with BV

Is this why i can't link my pages together?

The end goal here is to quit Network Solutions and publish with BV.

You can link the pages together, but you won't be able to see it until you publish - because right now if you click on any link, it will take you to the corresponding page that is live with Network Solutions.

Some things you won't be able to see working correctly until you make the switch. (I am doing the same with a few websites currently).

Cool Re: published site = site I'm creating

    thanks, Beth

I wasted hours not knowing that pages don't link until they're published. Do the BV tutorials should tell us that in so many words? Based on all the searches I've done regarding linking pages . . . I don't think most newbies know that.
