This is happening with my index page. No resizing is needed.
It has been altered tons of times up until yesterday.

I have reset the connection time out to 360
I have reinstalled blue voda twice
redone both fire walls 3 times (added and removed bluevoda and blue ftp with reboots in between)
shut down all fire walls
and it still times out.

Please help

This is a copy of the log. I know it is connecting but it is cutting off too soon.

Hello anyone at BlueVoda (March 4 2006)

I can't publish pages either. I've been reading forum posts which seem to indicate this is an ongoing problem.

I don't think it helps to simply repeat the info we can find in the customer service section. It appears that a number of people have followed the advice there and still have problems.

If we were able to publish one day and not the next, and have not changed IP address, are trying to publish the same size files as before I vcan only assume the problem lies with bluevoda, particularly as so many experience the same.

Are bluevoda doing some kind of maintenance work that is preventing us from publishing??

Please give us info.

There was another thread on this subject....which has strangely gone....for two days I couldn't publish anything getting the 12002 error message( I also followed all the advice with no luck) and along with others who posted on the thread....then yesterday I managed to publish near enough my whole site....now today the error message is back....I haven't changed a thing since yesterday and my internet is working fine.

Gentlmen,

Opening a thread to to say you can not publish with out identifying yourself
is not productive.

"Hello I am abc.com I cant publish, Im getting error 12002"

or

"Hello I am Account ID 2468 I cant publish, Im getting error 12002"

or even the below is better than nothing.

"Hello I am john smth I cant publish, Im getting error 12002"

It is IMPOSSIBLE for us to investigate your problem and find a solution
if you do not tell us who you are.....

A 12002 error is a timeout error. You might also receive this error
if you are trying to publish to the wrong IP address. Otherwise you
are receiving it because you are trying to upload a very large file, or
your internet connection speed is very slow.

The first thing you will want to do is run a pix resizer over all your
photgraphs to compress their size:

After you have done this, if the problem persists, try the below
work around:

1. In windows go to Start, select run and type: Regedit
2. Find this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BlueVoda 7\BlueVoda 7\Publish\
3. Add a new DWORD value with the name ConnectionTimeout
4. Enter the value in seconds for example 360 (default is 30)
