You're right, but the minority can always do a bit of horizontal scrolling, interesting scenario though?

      Hi Dawnbreaker,

Its really a matter of choice and wether you care enough about the people who visit your website to make it as easy and as pleasant an experience as you can .. I call it customer/client respect..... heres another scenario

Say your having a BBQ and a few people coming are vegetarians.. do you cater for them or not? ....may take little extra effort but it wont compromise the party ;o)

I have set over and over again the following www.mayatabasco.com/chiapas.html to 800
width and in was centered but now it has a gap to the left and I cannot or do not know how to correct it. I always centered saved and published.

Choco, I think your problem is simply that you havent moved everything more over to the left ....and work inside your guidlelines if you have used them ..thats all :o)

Thats why its best to set the guideline (a dotted line around your work area) if anything goes over that line on the right then you have the scroll effect...hope that helps :o)

BBQ? Now there's an idea! I guess you're right and I will alter my 1024 habit forthwith.

Can I ask what a nice lady from 'Bomber County' is doing in the Army? You should be wearing RAF blue - I don't like the colour of this uniform at all :)

Hi Linda - please have a look at my web site and tell me what I should do to improve the way the pages are - I have them set to 800, but some go over that. I guess they would all be better with the same width?
Someone suggested that I should centre the pages - what about that?
                      Thanks - in anticipation!

                        Hi Linda,

                        Thanks for the tip!

I was wondering, how do you make a sub-domain-sub-domain like yours?!?! You have www.vegegarden.lindasemporium.org or whatever! I want a www.computers.dwat.co.nz but all i can get is computers.dwat.co.nz, and this is sorta annoying. I know that the open-realestate application found under fantastico does it, but I could not find out how to do my own one.

Please see if you can help me out, I would be very greatful.

                        Have a good day.
