sideway scroll on laptop

HI Peeps
one of my forum members is using a laptop as well as a desktop. on the laptop she has upto a couple of day ago been ok. but she has now got a sideways scroll when veiwing the forum. the screen is set to 1024 by 768.
does anyone know what the problem could be. Thanks.
