Being familiar with him and his situation I was clearly trying to keep it simple by FIRST making sure his deluge by bots was dealt with (as shown above).

All the extra advice is great, but kinda overkill here.

If the other advice was overkill, your's is lacking. The visual confirmation that ships with the stock phpBB is useless - bots have no problems reading it - which is why Watdaflip suggested an enhanced CAPTCHA SYSTEM.

I've changed the User Account Enabling to Admin. So now the spam posts are much much reduced. Thanks a lot !!!!

Now, the bigger problem, how to delete the users. I know the method to delete each users in the Admin section. But am looking for a SQL Script that will delete the users in a bulk.

I changed my date of joining using the SQL script and I got help only in this forum. So there should be a way to bulk delete the users.

The query should be something like this:

DELETE * FROM <TABLE_NAME> WHERE <USER_NAME> IN (USER1, USER2, USER3, USER4, USER5........ USER'N'>

This should be a much easier and efficient way!

Have done the 'zip' thing and now I have a folder on my desktop. How do I install it so my forum would have the 'mass delete ? Know it's a simply question but don't how to do it.
