Must say I have to agree. It never fails to amuse me - that folk pay good money for the bits of a chicken that I routinely chuck away! And don't even get me started on giblets! Lol.

So, next to Hannigan's Irish Pub? I'm trying to think of where that is... is that in North Dallas?

As crude as as unwelcome as this next bit may be,...

Julie, you couldn't possibly be more lovely. What a pretty picture.

Thats it, nothing more than that. I'll never speak it again.

Yes, I do love the Guinness. An ice cold pint (or two) after a long day is perfect.

So there's little danger of the servers being blown up then - more likely the danger of the staff suffering from an excess of Guiness!

No wonder you are such a cheerful lot!

    Cheers!!

started a topic Where is the Vodahost Server Farm?

Where is the Vodahost Server Farm?

Just asking as a major computer company in the UK had its server farm right next to the Hemel Hempstead oil refinery! Subject close to my heart as they host our payroll system - luckily the payroll was processed last Friday so I will get paid this month!

Makes you wonder what risk assessment was carried out before they decided to site the server farm there, doesn't it?

As they also were in the business of website hosting, I just wondered whether the Vodahost servers were better situated?? Or rather - what buildings are next door??

Joking apart, the timings of the explosions at Hemel were amazing - the IT company has up to 400 staff working in it on a weekday, on Sunday morning there were just 4 staff! All were okay! The building and servers are a write off!

    Cheers
    Trish
