    Re: Do you download music?

Ahhhhh gotcha :) I can see that property site could be an intersting subject to work on and design but I definitely wouldn't want to own a site like that. Wouldn't have enough hours in the day to run it and update it properly :)

        Re: Do you download music?

Lincslady.. I have to tell you... Its a great idea.... My girlfriend is a conveyancing lawyer, as you know the only thing they do is handle the legal side of buying and selling property and she would be first in line to tell you that estate agents do absolutely nothing for the money that they charge whereas the law side of things is extremely stressful, involves a lot more work that is also a lot more complicated than what an estate agent has to do and many people (buyers and sellers) know about this.....

setting up a place like the one you are thinking of buying could be a real earner because moving house is one of the most stressful things that you can possibly be a part of. Saving the customers some money would hold a real attraction for a lot of people. You might be onto a winner.

From the point of view of the website, thanks for the link. It is always useful for any website (regardless of the trade you are a part of) to look pretty and have functionality. lindashouseemporium would definitely benefit from some updating.

Will you just be dealing with properties in your area? For example a local service for local people? The only reason I ask is that for something that operated ona nationwide scale you would definitely be looking at some kind of database structure which could end up expensive but a local service might easily be updated without the need for special programming. Just a seperate page for each town in Lincolnshire with properties added manually as and when they came to you. Thinking of it like a customer would, If your service was just a local one it would make people feel like they are getting a more personal service and that in turn would make them feel a lot more attented too. A very good thing when it comes to transactions that involve so much money.

Like I said... an interesting market to be a part of and definitely an intersting site for somebody to build :)

            Re: Do you download music?

I hope it works out, its a great idea with excellent potential if you are just dealing with your local area. Get known for a great service and get some good word of mouth going (you cant get better advertising than that) and I'm pretty certain that you will see at least some success.

Roll on the new PC hehehe. I would definitely be excited about the prospects if I was operating a similar service.

I found this site, I was a little wary at first, but the service has been excellent and it is really good value for money. I pay around $0.09 for one track or around a dollar for a whole album. You have to lodge a payment initially but I have had no problems and got an extra $5 added to my account as a gift. It's cool.

HAHAA well Linda, I have posted it on the other forum so if there are any complaints I will be sure to send them right along to you and Amanda whilst I craftily dodge all questions to save myself from harm hehehe. Just joking. I am sure they will be fine. Just had a look at the site and it does look very good. Some great prices.
