Question on Vodahost $30 Gift

This might be a silly question but... why is Vodahost offering its customers a $30 credit toward opening up a new Vodahost account, when we already have a Vodahost account? I receive this nice email every so often and finally had to ask the question, because I apparently am missing something. I could understand if it was applicable toward premium templates or add-ons. Can you enlighten me? Thanks!

You might want an account for business that needs to be separate, or want to recommend a friend with a discount. Some have 2 accounts on different servers to help with back ups. Some create sites for other pepole & might offer a discount to the other person. There are many of reasons.
