How to resolve access difficulties for website viewers?

I am receiving numerous "complaints" that viewers can not "get on" a website I've built for a national club using Soholaunch.

I'm don't how to remedy the situation ... could someone suggest where I might start?

I'm sure there is specific information I could share with someone trying to assist me with this, but I'm too much of a newbie to know what questions to ask ... or answer.

I "think" the vast majority of the website users actually can access the website. However, the ones who can't are active on national on-line forums and busily bad-mouthing the site I've built ... so resolving this is a priority for peace and tranquility ... and my own sanity.

Thanks in advance to whoever can assist.

    Sincerely,
    JANET

Well to start I would need a LINK to the page. The link in your signature results in a page not found. My initial guess is that you dont have the site set up correctly either as a subdomain or a domain. Soho requires the full access of a domain name name in some manner. You cannot simply install it to a folder. It will not work.

      Hello Karen,

I was hoping you would respond!

      THAT's exactly what I'm talking about ...

When I just clicked on the link in my signature, I went right to the site. [I cleared my my Internet cache before clicking on the link also.]

Then I re-cleared all my Internet data on Firefox, typed in the exact same web address in the signature link, and again ... it went right to the site.

The site has been active since December 7th.

December stats were 3,724 unique visitors with 11,984 total page views
January states so far 1,317 unique visitors with 3,934 total page views.

So ... I'm thinking it's at least partially set up correctly ... ???

I would love to "give" you a link to the site so you can help me!

But ... how do I do that so it works?

      Many thanks,
      JANET

          Hello Tom,

Thank you very much for sharing your results!

Accessing the site seems like it can be a bit of a dice roll.

I'm actually "thrilled" that the link did NOT work for Karen ...
as that may be helpful in getting to the bottom of this.

          Again, thanks!
