the background color for your copyright text on the home page is not transparent like the links above it. Try to stay uniform. It doesn't look professional when you lose uniformity. The red text on the second image rollover is hard to read. Try to contrast the the text color.
In your subscription page, your rollover images are two separate images. Again, try to stay uniform.
Also, your bottom text links are not uniform throughout the site and in your subscription page, you have them off centered and smaller fond.
Just an SEO suggestion, you might want to not underline your bottom text links and change the color of the link itself so it is easy to notice and differentiate. For for the hover affect, have it then underline it and even have it in a different color. SEs see this more positively... and so do visitors since they want to find what they are looking for quickly.
Keep up the hard work, it takes a while building a great first site! It's all the learning mistakes;)
