  • Please check site, be honest!

I have been working on this site for my church for about 4 months now. It took me so long cuz I started out using another website builder that i could not get the hang of, but once I switched over to BV it all went faster and a lot smoother.

Please review my site and let me know what you think

be honest and don't hold anything back.

    thanks,

    very nice!
only 1 or 2 "tweaks" necessary: (BTW, I am on FF)
a lot of side-scroll on all pages - need to go to page properties, check the page width &/or center pages.
On 'Blue letter Bible - Study Tools' the page is too far to the left...a big space runs down the right side of the page....this page also opens in a new tab with no link back to Home.
4 months is not so long for this result...mine is still not finished after 6!!!
    Well done :)

Never measure the height of the mountain you're climbing. At the summit, look back and see how small it really is!

how do you recommend i change my page size? would i have to rebuild every page? Have you come across some script or some code that would automagically resize the site on someones screen depending on what their screen resolution is set to

        Great website.

I recommend getting a better resolution background. Your current background is a little pixelated and blurry.

        Other than that, looks good:)

Unfortunately there is no easy way around this. This might help.

            ok thanks for the info
the easiest thing would probably be to create a template to the correct size and clone it for the rest of my pages so they won't be too big.

guess i gotta lot more work to do

            thanks

ok wow that was mass confusion.
but i think i got it fixed
i made my pages smaller (man that was a lot of work) and resized the background pic.

please take a look at my site again and let me know what you think.

                    Hi,

great looking site, one little thing that I found a little frustrating...

On the Pastors page, the first image (Thomas Waters) took a long time to load (I'm on FF), it was okay once it had cached, but first load took an age.

                    HTH

                    and your site is successful!

                    Pete
