Help needed with filezilla please!

Hi there

I am trying to connect to filezilla to delete files from the public directory
as I have advised to do. I am being asked for the following to enable me to
connect to the client

Host - Username - Password and Port

I have tried using my website URL as the host with my c/p logins
for the username & password and then port 21? I keep getting a
critical error message??

Any help appreciated as I need to delete files and hopefully some
nasty back links that I have discovered!!

can you login to your cPanel with those credentials? try placing your IP as the hostname.

Using your cPanel you can upload, edit, or even delete files using the File Manager tool and not have to use Filezilla at all.

I have no problem logging into the c/p with my username & p/word
it's just not working on the filezilla client thing! Sorry which IP do I need?
