Domain Name Still Available for Purchase

Hello everyone,

I purchased BV hosting package (including a domain name) three days ago. This morning I searched through few other registers (Whois etc.) and my domain is still available for registration. How is that possible?

It might not have propagated yet - but have you received your welcome letter? Did your purchase go through?

Hi Beth,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes i received everything 2 days ago. Now when I type my domain name straight into the address bar it opens a page that says "Index of" and it has 2 files listed: Parent Directory and cgi - bin. Of course they are empty because I have not uploaded my pages yet.

Does it mean that everything is fine?
