If anyone else has been as frustrated as I have thinking we had a working login script with the new BV11 only to find it didn't work you may want to take a look at this one at http://www.php-login-script.com/ It is Free, very easy to install, has captcha, email verification etc. and for once almost idiot proof installation instructions.
I have downloaded it and it seems to be working fine with little or no problems and there is also a good forum with quick response if you do find a snag or want some help to amend the script to suit your own sites requirements.
